The ICAI has noticed that various fake social media pages are being operated illegally using its name and logo.
These fake pages are making false announcements, posting derogatory and objectionable material, and sharing content that infringes on the ICAI's intellectual property rights.
The ICAI's verified social media accounts are on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/theicai), Twitter (https://twitter.com/theicai), LinkedIn (https://www.linkedin.com/edu/22460), YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/icaiorgtube), and Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/icaiorg/).
The public, students, and members are advised to exercise caution, not to be misled by the content, and to immediately bring any suspected fake pages to the notice of the ICAI for necessary action.
The ICAI reserves the right to initiate appropriate coercive actions under both criminal and civil laws against social media accounts and the individuals controlling them that post fake or derogatory content.
