FAQ :

The IT Grievance Redressal Committee was set up to address difficulties faced by taxpayers due to technical glitches on the GST Portal, approving steps for resolution.

Taxpayers should make an application to the field officers or the Nodal officers of their State/Centre where a demonstrable glitch occurred on the Common Portal.

The application must specify the demonstrable technical glitches, enclose evidence of bonafide attempts to comply with the law, and detail the issue.

Nodal officers collate applications and evidence, then forward them to the GSTN Nodal officer for examination and verification.

Nodal officers should send collated details of grievances once a week, every Monday, to the designated GSTN email address.

No, this facility is not available for non-compliances due to reasons other than technical glitches, such as internet availability or individual taxpayer problems. Issues due to legal or procedural reasons are also not sent to GSTN.
