The number of registered GST taxpayers continued to expand, with total GSTINs crossing 92 lakh as of 31 December 2025. Both Centre and State GST registrations showed consistent growth, supporting long-term revenue stability

Outlook

The December 2025 GST data indicates stable consumption demand, improved import activity, and efficient refund processing. While higher refunds softened net revenue growth in the short term, the overall trend suggests a healthy GST ecosystem heading into the final quarter of FY 2025-26.
