  • Records for 4 premium apartments and 2 residential plots in Guwahati.
  • Documentation of 2 homestead plots and 1 agricultural land in Imphal West.
  • Evidence of possession/investment in 6 high-end luxury vehicles.
  • 2 luxury watches valued in lakhs.
  • 100 gm silver bar.

Authorities noted that most of the properties appear to have been undervalued, and verification is ongoing.

The CBI initiated the case based on credible source information. A trap was laid on October 14, 2025, which resulted in the arrest of the Executive Director and a private individual during the acceptance of a bribe. The alleged bribery was linked to the issuance of a favorable extension of time (EOT) and Completion Certificate for works carried out by the private company, including the 4-laning of National Highway-37 from Demow to the end of Moran Bypass, along with other contracts in Assam.

Both accused individuals were produced before the Special Judge, CBI Assam, Guwahati, and remanded to three days of police custody.
