Government cautions stakeholders as 348 companies fail to meet requisite criteria for declaration as Nidhi company

Companies have been applying to the Central Government for declaration as Nidhi under the CA, 2013 but of the 348 number of forms scrutinized upto 24.08.2021 not a single company could satisfy the requisite criteria for the same.

FM Nirmala Sitharaman sets 15th September as deadline for Infosys to resolve issues in the new IT Portal

The Finance Minister demanded that the issues faced by taxpayers on current functionalities of the portal should be resolved by the team by 15th September, 2021 so that taxpayers and professionals can work seamlessly on the portal.

ICSI requests MCA for extension of timeline for holding Annual General Meeting due to COVID-19

New IT Portal now live after emergency maintenance activity by Infosys

Ministry of Finance has summoned Sh Salil Parekh, MD &CEO, Infosys on 23/08/2021 to explain to hon'ble FM as to why even after 2.5 months since launch of new e-filing portal, glitches in the portal have not been resolved.

ICAI amends Multipurpose Empanelment Form (MEF) - 2021-22 to make it comprehensive and more user friendly

ICAI is upgrading the Multipurpose Empanelment Form for FY 2021-22 to be filled by CA Firms and Members applying for Bank Audits and other assignments. The said form will now be comprehensive and more user friendly and will be made live in October 2021.
