This is to inform you that the Central Government has notified the provisions of clause (i) of section 23 of the Companies (Amendment) Act, 2017 w.e.f. 05th March 2021 i.e. the provisions of sections 92(1) of the Companies Act, 2013.

Action initiated to control fraudulent companies

The term 'Fraudulent Company' is not defined in the Companies Act, 2013. However, Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) through the Registrar of Companies (ROC) CRC at Manesar registers new companies by following due process of law.

Udyam registration further simplified

A notification has been issued by the Ministry of MSME on 05.03.2021 to align the mandatory requirement for filing Udyam Registration with those for filing GST Returns, in the interest of those enterprises that are exempted from filing returns.
