Wrong hra in form 16

Hi

While providing the tax proof , I gave the HRA for 2011-12 as 18,000(1,500/month) instead of 1,80,000(15,000/month)

The Form 16 from my company has HRA as 18,000

Can this be corrected and if so what is the proof I ned to provicde?

Can the excess tax deducted be claimed back

Please advice

YES it can be corrected & claimed back ,  u need not require to submit any documentry proof but keep all paymnet details
