I deposited the service tax amount mistakenly in wrong a/c head
How we can rectify it ?

Go to bank where you deposit service tax challan amount and rectify it.

Its happened on 2009-10 IInd Half year .But now i think its not possible
Than you should write a letter to AO of central excise superintendent with a zerox copy of challan.
