Nothing is clear in case of works contract Tax (TDS),is it different in every state? what are complication in lumpsum( composition) and regular WCT.

In Karnataka, only Government departments are required to deduct VAT TDS on payments made towards works contracts in the State.
Under KVAT Act refer Sec. 9A, 18 and 18 A which coveres applicability of TDS. Refer these sections for detailed information.
