which place is better for sitting in campus??

hello freinds...can anyone suggest me that whether choice of  place for sitting in campus placement also affects the chances of getting job or good package?? i m from kolkata n i heard campus for it is not so much good,some companies r not coming here at all..my freinds r suggesting me to go for BAnglore....please help me out...which will be the better option ???Kolkata or Banglore....also suggest for HOW to PREPARE for CAMPUS and wat about DRESS CODE??URGENT as we have to apply from 26th  to 30th august
