which one is best for AS

i have both Rawath and MPV sir's books, But i found that ICAI material is the bible both in terms of quality and exam orientation.

In June PCC the questions in accounts have been taken verbatim from the material itself.

Institute's material means what? The bare AS? But for practicle problems,what should be done? Is it necessary to purchase latest addition of any book? Or 2007 addition ismO.K.

in  terms of accounts which has no relation with amendmetns, i don't think their is need of any new edition...

dear vignesh, i have a soft copy of a summary of important guidance notes, its a bit big, so can't be uploaded on this site, it can be sent at ur email id,.........pls give ur email id..............

And dear jagruti, their is no problem doing it with 2007 edition with the disclaimer that, with the subsequent attempts the patterns of th equestion paper changes, and the new books bring some more questions about a particular AS........since 2007 edition must be lacking in the 3 - 4 attempts paper, u can understand that...........as for the matter or for the purpsoes of understanding, i see no harm in this.........but u do refer last yr question papers that is after 2007 attempts...............thanx

I hope the guidance notes is for ACCOUNTS exam and not auditing. For auditing im referrin to KAMAL GARG,guidance notes have been covered well.

I want to know that Is there any change in method while calculating EPS and DEPS under AS 20, regarding ESOP problems B'coz of  Amendments to SEBI (ESOP & ESPS)Guidelines,1999 [published in RTP for June 09 exam].
