I have a friend who is working with a CA. He wants to transfer his articleship registration to another firm. Now currently as inquired articleship transfers will be allowed if filled with the institute before30th april. But my query is whether the form should be signed on or before 27th march or even if it is signed after 27th of march the transter form will be accepted??

yes, tranfer forms must me signed before 27 th march. i have personally enquired to one of the officers of ICAI. my friend also faced a similar problem. however , the officer also mentioned that it is a generel interpretation that it shud be signed before 27 march, forms signed after 27 march but before 30 april may be accepted- but that wud be a risky case as ur form might cancelled up later on. so make in an effort to get it signed on a date before 27 march.
