Whether Service Tax Applicable?????

As the complex is being used for the residential purposes, hence the same would not come within the ambit of Service Tax. Services so rendered would not be taxable under Renting of Immovable Property.

OK Thanks for your reply but i have another dought as following

We used building for business purpose in consideration of  fess  for  providing facilities of accomodation , food , etc to to students. Whether it will be fall under any other category of Service Tax?

whether service tax liablity arises on car parking fees charged to members of the society

indoor cartering is exempt from service tax.

if your hostel is registered with municipal corporation as commercial and you have a valid licence then you can get it registered with service tax and pay service tax, 

for personal properties used as hostel for students, service tax does not attract.

any such fees/ service would added to rental / maintanance fees and would be treated accordingly.
