A manufacturing company paid to 'driving school' for forklift/Trailer registration charges..
dear expert pl explain whether we deduct TDS ? if yes, under which section ?
What is the amount paid?
Frequency of the job?
Deduct TDS u/s. 194C...
I think, registration of vehicles at RTO office is not a professional service or it doesn't require any technical skill, so TDS u/s. 194J is not justified. Its OK to deduct TDS at higher rate on safe side, unless the service provider objects.
