I have registered myself under the new scheme whereby you can start your articleship befor ipcc. If I have started my articleship on 1/9/12 and I would be appearing for may 2013 ipcc attempt when would my final attempt fall?

if u pass in may 2013 attempt then ur attempt would accordingly fall in may 2015 as per the articleship rules...!!!! wherein after completing 2.5 years u can give the CA final attempt...so ur 2.5 will get completed in Mar 2015 so u can give may 2015 attempt...!!!
Is not May 2013 to May 2015 only 2 years ? and besides its 2.5 years from date of registration of articles, i.e 30 months from 1/9/12 which makes it 31/1/2015 thereby enabling you to write in May 2015 ? I am just guessing, Am i right ? My friend cleared IPCC in Nov-2011, Is she eligible for the same 2.5 years ?

Does it mean you get final attempt after completion of 2.5 yrs of articleship irrespective of ipcc result (provided you have cleared ipcc within 2.5 yrs of your articleship, be it in your first or any other attempt within the 2.5 yr period).
