When to apply for pt no

Hello,

I would like to know when one should apply for profession tax. A dealer is already registered under Bombay Shops & Establishment Act i.e Gumasta. He has 10-15 employees,should such person apply for PT?

If applied then does he has to pay late fee or any penalty because Gumasta has been received last year.

Yes u need to take PT but show as if now u are eligible

First of all i would like to say that i am not an eligible person to answer your query , anyways Professioanl Tax is a state goverment revenue , it's rules and regulation depends on state government basis , i don't know the ptax rules of Maharashtra , but as far as WB Govt rules are concerned , i can say that , yes you need to apply for a new Professional Tax registration number with current tax submission for an employer as far as your query is concerned .
