Weightage of marks in case of indirect tax in ipcc nov 14 attempt

- Total marks allocation for CA-IPC Indirect Taxes is 50.

- Like CA-Final, ICAI has not specified any weightage of marks for different topics.

- But compared to other topics, service tax has been covered in detail.

- Though it is advisable to cover the syllabus as a whole, you may emphasis on the coverage of service tax.

Well i got an info that service tax will be for 20 marks so give more emphasis to it.
Escepcially "Exemptions and Abatements" chapter as it is a new ammendment.
Rest all chapters will constitute 5 marks each or something.
But there will definitely be simple basic questions from excise customs CST
