first of all i dnt buy that idea for going for any one group , the reasons are very simple u might clear the first group then when u go for the second group u need 200 and in that case u need to be master in atleast one subject to score atleat 60 in one subject , so i will suggest to go for both the groups .

now when u comes for books first take the assessment which way u like to read few people have habbit of question ans answer format few go for plain reading .

so i can tell u the books i like :-

1. account :- mp vijay kumar and d s rawat for standards

2. sfm :- s d bala and study material

3. audit :- paduka best of all

4. claw :- no option simply take munish bhandari main book and even hand book

5. costing :- ravi kishor /s*xena and vasisit look for the study material u find 40 marks paper as cut past from study material , its very imp as costing paper is very lengty so u need to know the problem so it will not take much time in exam to solve

6. isca :- no other option dnt even dare to touch any book rather than study material

7. dt :- vinod gupta / tn manoharan

8. idt :- dattey if u like to read in details / question answer format banger

here no one will tell u but read the study material bcause each and every provision is having conflicted decision , but institute material take one stand about each particular cases so its better to look at what institute stand regarding the same

then in final time practical manual , rtp of past two year

4 time reading of each subject is must if u can do that no one can stop u from getting pass in ca final

i told the same for sfm dear sd bala and practical manual

now the question comes for audit , dnt make that mistake ...i agree with most of you that paduka is quite bulky compare to surabhi bansal but rem one thing now what we seen in may exams are more on concepts points rather than mugging up the same

and by refering paduka u r covering the most of the company audit and auditors , and it dnt take much time after u start so plz condier atleast once before going for surabhi bansal its better if u tell the same after few months when time is not there to go for paduka so take app. decision after considering the same mr ,rikin

well i agree with u on all aspects except that for audit i wont suggest paduka and main buk of munish bhandari.since its too lengthy. i have also referred paduka in audit but in the last moths i felt that module and surbhi bansal mam notes are better. paduka is to lenghty to complete.and also a bit monotonous otherwise audit is very interesting and practical subject.. as far as law is concerned handbook of munish bhandari sir and practice manual are sufficient..

well if ritika is suggesting i think she is having better knowledge rather than me about all this but i had taken up the paduka and i think time is there to read that what i find surabhi bansal notes are not able to cover each and every part .

again on munish bhandari the same thing time is there so y to go for short cuts , read the main book atleast once and then go for hand book in final revisions

well i am not a ca bhaiya that i am having better knowledge.. in fact u have more experience nd knowledge than me... i have just tried to share my own opinion what i have felt regarding my preparations. we both have our own opinions and i respect your opinion..

well ritika m on your way....in pcc i had paduka read( 3 times)...bt in day before xam...nt possible to go through...

so in final..m going on with s.bansal book (audit)....m. bhandari(law-handbook ), along with modules....i think in ca it does not matter which book u refer..its important how many times u revise....i have seen student fetching good marks with low quality materials...

i have an idea if u r using paduka read it well...but assign ABC on question....day before xam refer A first then B, then if u have time then C type.....this method is tihought by leading tution in ahmedabad...

but on paduka and surabhi basnak u refer surabhi bansal its good short and sweet but i prefer paduka bcause u get everything covered in that, nothing more than that and that true we should respect each other opinion that better so u can get more ideas to crack the same
