I have a godown on rent. Now I want to convert the godown into warehouse where instead of storing my goods I will be storing goods for others and take storage charges from them.
Can we do that? If yes then what are the license and registrations required and what books are required to be maintaine?
Yes you have to get the warehouse registered with the concerned warehousing authority after which you can provide warehousing services.
