v k singhania's problem with solution book is good but first know the concept and don't refer singhania's student guide to income tax its really big.you need 2 months for completing the whole.if you have time go for it otherwise first complete indirect tax from study material and practice manual(MOST OF IT IS THEORY SO EASY) and then go through important chapters of direct tax you will clear tax easily

don't just rely on my suggestions take from tohers too these are my personal views only

go for t.n.manoharan sir book its nice n clear ur concept
