Hey! This "No data found" issue when trying to view a notice on the e-filing portal is pretty common sometimes. Here’s what you can do:
-
Check Portal Timing: Sometimes, after the notice is issued, it takes a few hours or even a day for the notice to actually be available to view in your portal. So, wait a bit and try again later.
-
Clear Cache or Use Another Browser: Sometimes browser issues cause display problems. Clear your browser cache or try logging in from another browser or incognito mode.
-
Confirm from Assessing Officer: If it still shows “No data found” even after a couple of days, you can contact the Assessing Officer or the Centralized Processing Centre (CPC) through the portal or via phone/email to confirm whether the notice has been issued.
-
Check SMS/Email Links Carefully: The SMS or email you received usually contains a direct link to the notice. Make sure you are clicking on the correct and updated link.
-
Use DSC (if required): Some notices require Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) login or specific login credentials. Verify if you need to log in using DSC.
Summary: Usually, “No data found” means the notice is not yet uploaded fully on the portal or some technical glitch. Waiting for 24-48 hours and trying again often resolves it.
