Yes it will be beneficial for you to pay Rs.1100 and awitch over tho the new course. It will give you confidence ans that number game is over.

Hi Rahul i suggest u shd opt for New Syallabus as if for god say u pluck in your 1st Attempt then it wld b difficult 4 u 2 adjst. And also Ques could set from New Syallabus in Old one in C.A Exam. So u better to prepare for it. anyway All the Best

Dear Rahul, I am also a CA final yr student and i m going to appear in Nov 2008. For u, the simple fact that, why are you assuming that you will not clear in your first attemp. DONT DO THAT. Believe in urself, trust me, u will defenitely clear in that attempt. So there will be no confusion regarding if i would not clear in my first attempt then i have to switch over to new scheme, so why not to start from now itself....!! This should not be done dear. And there is still so much time for ur attempt. Study well In short, continue with old scheme.

i m also going to appear in Nov.09, final (old) course. in my view, u shud stick to the old one. y thinking -ve. hve trust in urself and plan best, manage it and success wil b urs. since it is the last attempt 4 old course and also the first for urs, their is more challange in clearing it than any subsequent.

In my view u shud not dread by the last-attempt- kind of things. if u believe in urself and u know that u can do it, no matter if it is first or last attempts. when u opt for taking challenges, u r not put into any particular circumstance to do so, challenges comes in regular life like this decision of switching over. But still i suggest that u shud see from the point of view of whether u r capable of doing it or not. that 's entirely ur wish and the circumstance u r in. ur past performace in the exams can only judge whether u shud take old or new one. In my view take decision not by consedering its last attempt but by the capability and the time u will be having from the training to clear it. if ur schedule is tight enough, u may think of doing it . lest just bcoz of its last attempt, pls just stick to old one.

If you are 100% sure that u will clear in 1st attempt . Opt for that But its better to opt new syllabus
