Quick Summary
This discussion explores whether vehicle registration charges should be treated as an expenditure or capitalised as part of a fixed asset. While some argue it's an expense, the consensus leans towards including it in the cost of the vehicle. This is because registration is essential for the vehicle to be operational, making it a cost of acquisition.

As I understand, all the costs associated in bringing the asset to operation is part of acquisition. In this case, since the vehicle cannot run without being it registered, it is a part of cost of acquisition.
