Vat registration

its ten lakhs but u need to register yourself under VAT when your taxable sales cross 9 lakh

You are talking about Service Tax.. In that when my Services limit cross 9 lakhs i need the registration. Not in VAT.

My Query is in DVAT the limit for compulsory reg is 10 lakh or 5 lakh.???   Coz dvat site shows as 5 lakhs, i think there is some amendment
