Dear Sir, I changed my firm from proprietary to partnership in April 2012 with name of the firm as same. Now during purchase some of my seller used my old tin number instead of new, which I didn't notice.
Now I have been send notice of mismatch J1 and J2.
How to go about it
Your seller has to file revised return with your correct tin no.
