I have registered online for MVAT number. This being voluntary registration it says as below.
So do I have to carry 2 P.Os of 5000 rs and 25000 rs? Can I make 1 PO for it?
I also read on one of the forums that I can make a PO of 5025 rs - including the 25 rs to be paid by court stamp.
Please help clarify.
| Chalan in Form No. 210 alongwith Demand Draft (D.D)/Pay Order (P.O) showing payment of Registration Fee of Rs. 5000/- and Deposit of Rs. 25000/- in case of Voluntary Registration and Rs. 500/- in other cases. However the dealer may pay Registration Fee of Rs. 500/- by the way of Court Fee Stamp. | ||
| b) For Mumbai location the D.D/ P.O should be drawn in favor of Bank of Maharashtra A/C MVAT and D.D/P.O should be drawn in favor of State Bank of India, A/C MVAT, payable at respective locations. | ||
