Within how many days board shall fill the vacancy of Independent Director ?

180 days from the date of such vacancy or

3 months of such vacancy or next board meeting ?

Any intermittent vacancy of a woman director or Independent Director shall be filled-up by
the Board at the earliest but not later than immediate next Board meeting or three months
from the date of such vacancy whichever is later

Thanks for your reply.

As per schedule IV of companies act 2013 Board shall fill the vacancy within a period of 180 days from the date of removal or resignation.

What is the difference between removal/resignation and Intermittent vacancy ?
