What is the use of multiple copies of Tax invoice / Retail Invoice / Bill Books. 

Why does everyone use 4 copies of Bill books. please explain

YOU CAN USE MORE AND LESS THAN 4 COPIES OF BILL /INVOICE AS PER YOUR REQUIRE, THERE IS NO FIX NUMBERS OF COPIES AS PER GOVT. ACT

Dear 

its not mandtry to use 4 copies or mor , but on the ground of bkeepng we gnrly use 2 copies of invoice Orig. and Duplc.

 

Its not that everyone use 4 copies of bill. 

Its upto you how many copies to maintain.  There is no hard and fast rule to maintain 4 copies. But yes you should maintain atleast 2 copies.
