You should refer S.D.bala. It is very good book as far as conceptual clarity is concerned.

what i feel is that your basics are not clear..first clear your basics,,i would suggest you sit down with your fellow freinds who took coaching along with you ang your basics cleared,,then move forward ..stick to sigle book/notes,instead on relying on multiple books

Agree with POOJA.

Ya pooja Actually all of my friends who studied from Ashish Kalra sir are facing problem now...as during classes we felt that we able to grasb everything but now all questions seems to be so confusing..... I also feel to go with the same books as not much time is left in May 2013....

Pooja dont panic.......just go with notes of Mr.Makkar sir it is very helpful and i got 75 no. in SFM due to that notes

i can understand, its common wid students of kalra sir,get jb gupta combine it wid kalra sir's notes and u'll get a good grip of SFM......................and dont panic u still hv ample of  tym and u'll b able to complete on tym...............all the best

Buy either AN sridhar  or SD bala.. ......

For clearing basics I  suggest   u  once have a look at any major chapter from Papneja Sir’s book “Conceptual approach to SFM’’ although it contains more than 800 solved questions but  most importantly it contains 100% theory and clarifies every concept in very lucid language . He is very senior teacher for SFM & FR in Delhi. His student scored all India highest 90 marks in SFM in May 2012 when the paper was basically conceptual.  If u follows his answer to students queries on AS & SFM on this site these are awesome u will get idea about his approach to teaching.

Hi Bhumika,

As per my opinion, don't refer any notes for SFM.

If you can devote time for coaching again then it would be a much better option.

I know one good teacher in Delhi(Gaurav Jain) and he can teach you all the SFM concepts in a very simple manner and you will learn how to crack the conceptual paper.

I also have attempt in coming NOV 12 and I attended his classes just 2 months back that took 1.5 month to complete.

I had referred class notes from other author's also and took classes  in my past but believe me anything was of no use.

The class fee is also very nominal and believe me you will find it worthfull to attend his classes.

Regards,

Karan

thank u all for your valuable suggestions......smiley
