credit card is the one  where you can do shopping based on your credit limits given even you can do cash withdrawal also.But  for using debit card you should have money in your bank account.Other cards ,smart,charge cards are just privilege cards for getting points .for eg you purchase coffee powder in coffee day outlets if you have that smart card of coffee day  it will be swiped on the terminal at the time of purchase for accumaulation of points for getting some gift articles

what is the difference amongst these regarding time limit for crediting the bank a/c with money withdrawn or used??

as a prudent measure never do cash withdrawals as interest rates are  very high and interest amount  will start from the first day of cash withdrawal but you can purchase the same on credit a period of normally  30 days to 45 days will be given  for making payments

 Is this applicable in all cases i.e.,in charge cards as well as credit cards??

only for credit card cash withdrawals .there is no cash withdrawal for smart cards.Debit card cash with drawal is just you have a bank account and you draw your own money  so interest element only for credit cards

As far as credit, debit cards are concernd, i'm satisfied with SIVARAM'S answers.. He's perfectly correct in all those....

While, i dnt have ny knowldge regarding CHARGE CARDS.... will find it, and let u knw...
