After how much time can we claim refund of unutilized input credit? In immediate subsequent month??

yes, but after filing returns of previous month i.e for which refund is to be claimed
sec 54 read with rule 89 of CGST act 2017
Refund can be claimed within 2 years from the end of relevant financial year.
