Dear Experts please guide me as to in this budget excise duty of 10% is levied on more items (i.e. Readymade Garments etc. ) from when is this rate will be applicable from tomorrow or from ist aplil 2010?

unless notified in specific, the uniion excise duties get effected on next day of budget,
FM has abolished the exemption notifications, so its effective from 1st march 2011
wait for notification to be published in few hours
