Hi, if a person has two different businesses and for one business composition scheme is best for him and for another business regular scheme is good for him.? Can he register two different trade names under same gstin with regular and composition scheme? Or else separate gstin for each business? Please clarify my doubt.. If so, what's the procedure. Thanks.

No. Gst registration is pan based. Of heboots for composition scheme,then all the business verticals should be based on composition only. One cannot opt regular and composition simultaneously

No. as per the proviso umder Section 10 (2) of CGST Act , you cannot opt one business under composition & another under regular with same PAN
