This is a known issue that occasionally occurs on the Income Tax Portal, especially during system updates or high traffic. If XML/JSON files are downloadable but PDFs are not, it may be due to a temporary server-side error or browser compatibility issue.

You can try the following:

• Use Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge (updated version).

• Clear browser cache or try using Incognito/Private Mode.

• Avoid using mobile/tablet for downloads.

• Try downloading during non-peak hours (early morning/late night).

• If it still doesn’t work, wait for the portal to restore functionality, or raise a Grievance Ticket under the “Help” section.
