Two different firm under same vat tin number

Hi sir, I m having vat tin no of my firm but now I want to start a new business at different location with different firm name. My firm is sole proprietorship firm. So do I have to apply for new vat tin no or I can start business with my current vat tin no. I m from Gujarat. Can I show my new firm as a branch.
