Turnover less than 20 L but purchases from other states. No sale outside state. Needs GST or not

sir, i am running a retail textile store and mt turnover is less than 15 lacs a year. but, some goods i am getting from other state sellers with GST (IGST + CGST+SGST) Billing based upon my PAN CARD. BUT I am selling all goods locally only. So, please tell me if I require to register or not ? Any other precautions to be taken. thanking you in advance.

No not required to obtain Registration.

If you sale outside state or not if the turnover increases to 20 lacs in case of services then GST registration is required and in case of good start turnover limit will be 40 lacs then GST registration is required

No... in term of Section 24 CGST Act Need to obtain Registration mandatory if supply goods interstate irrespective of threshold limit turnover
in term of Section 22 CGST Act for supply of service threshold limit to obtain Registration is 20 lac & for Goods 40 lac.

sir, thanks a lot for your advise. However, if I only purchase the goods from other states and sell locally as mine is going to be a retail store, what is the guideline. Whether GST registration will still be required or not .. thanks a lot , sir
