what is the tax treatment for rent from leasehold prop.
-> INCOME U/H OTHER SOURCES
OR
->INCOME U/H HOUSE PROP.

income from house property

Yes it is income under house property.....as it is the income from sub letting.

but it is possible(in which case)
that
we take leasehold rent in INCOME U/H OTHER SOURCES

No , it shud only be shown under head Income from House Property..
