Trasport goods under the cover of Delivery challan. In case the value of single consignment value is more than 50,000 E-way also required to be issued.

in the present case goods are transported to another unit with same GSTIN. Hence, not a supply.
Rule 55-transportaion of goods other than for supply, DC has to be issued.

Multiple series of tax invoices can be issued as per Rule 46. However, all the tax invoice (different series) has to be serially numbered.

As per Rule 49, bill of supply can be issued for supply of exempted goods (eg:rate of tax is nil as per rate notification) or it can be issued by a taxable person covered under composition levy.
Goods transported to another branch with same GSTIN is not exempted supply. Taxable goods transported without consideration and does not amount to supply. Hence, DC has to be issued as per Rule 55.
