Tranfer issue

Others 451 views 2 replies

Dear Members,

A Company incorporated in Maharashtra, executes the transfer in a different state i.e Chhattigarh. The tranfer is taking place through a Gift Deed.

So the Board Meeting will be shown in Chhattisgarh. So rate of stamp duty will applicable in the state where the Company is registered i.e Maharashtra or at the place where the gift deed is signed and executed i.e Chhatisgarh.

Further the gift deed is also to be notarised, so can it be notariesed in Chhatisgarh.

Regards,

Mayuri Lal
