Training details

I am a CS and Llb student. I have done secretarial training for 6 months out the total required period of 15 months. Now I have got training in a firm that deals with financial activities such as making CMA, proposal notes for banks, provide loans, bank guarantee to clients, etc.. As I am a student from corporate law background, I am into a dilemma that how such profile is going to benefit me in long run and how would it help my cs and llb degrees. Moreover, all these jobs are performed by a CA and MBA's as well. So I am confused that how is it going to be benefecial in these jobs as i am afraid that I am not going for corporate law firm and corporate litigation and doing so may limit my expertise to secretarial work only. Would it be beneficial for me to be a part of this firm and take this route or should i switch.?

You have already covered 6 months which leaves only 9 months...are U sure that if you join any new firm then they will give you exposure in your desired field?  Usually firms give the type of work which they want, not what the trainee wants...

Also note that this 15 months training is a part of your ICSI course, although it'll be counted, still after passing CS you'll considered as fresher as training is not counted as job experience, hence you will have more opportunities to go in the areas of your choice as a job seeker.

Still if you have a choice of a firm which is offering you the areas of training of your choice then you can switch over, there is no harm in it.
