Please explain procedure of Search & Seize the books of a/cs as per Excise Act. Also explain the time limit for completion of assessment as per Excise Act.
When any particular co. liable to Tax Audit which books of a/cs are seize by the Excise Act. then that company's Tax Audit not taken within time, in that situation what step taken by the co.
you can get your accounts and books from the seizure team or depute your personal to make copies / abstract from the records for audit purpose, they cant intrupt,
you just have to intimate the facts to a/c or d/c as the case may be of the team and he will issue suitable guidelines to make copies / abstract of the accounts.
