This is very urgent

I had to pay Rs.20,000 as advance tax of a client. Inadvertantly I paid Rs. 200,000. Is there any way by which I can recover the extra amount paid apart from the regular refund ? He also draws fees for professional services from a firm on which TDS is deducted. Now can he file Form 15H with that firm and ask them not to deduct tds.? Please advice.

It has to be claimed in your Regular Return of Income. No Provision to give Form 15H for Professional Service. Form 15H also could not be given if the assessee has taxable income

You can file an application to the TDS officer so that that amount can be adjusted in future or can be returned. Its a time consuming activity.

Orelse wait for filling the tax return then u can get the money refunded

Here, the Tax Paid as Advance Tax. TDS Officer has no role to play.

the only way is to get refund and check no interest is charged u/s 234 in notice since  u have actually paid more..for that quarter..
