The only way to banish all these doubts is by sharpening our knowledge, updating on our applicable areas and ofcourse being in touch with professional colleagues and building transactional relations.

Blackchain and machine learning may be a substitute for mechanical accounting work but never for a professional competent who deals in decision making area.

It is totally basesless.In fact,scope of audit professional increasingly day by day as technology improves.Not only this ,form of audit has also been changed.Earlier,internal audit was related to financial audit,then extended to operational audit,then risk basedthen IT ,then forensic....there is no stop over.....

Somewhat true. Machine learning and AI will replace most of the repetitive tasks and will affect all the fields equally,including accounting. However currently AI is in development phase,specialised knowledge of a human will still prevail over a machine. Also, the automation requires human expertise. Interestingly Indian companies, so called lala companies do not even utilise ms excel to its full potential,AI is atleast a 50 years away in their case,and this is a good 95pc of employers in India. So just chill,enhance your knowledge in automation too along with accounting.
