TDS Return acknowledgement number lost

TDS Return acknowledgement number lost for Q3. It was first return and also not yet registered in traces.

Is there any way to retrieve Q3 acknowledgement so that I can file Q4?

Quick Summary
If you've lost your TDS return acknowledgement number for Q3, and it's your first return, you might still be able to retrieve it. Contact the TIN Facilitation Centre where you filed the return, as they may have a copy. If you filed online, it might be downloadable from the e-filing site. If you cannot retrieve the PRN, you can still proceed to file your Q4 return. The Income Tax Department will send intimations with a masked PRN (first and last four digits visible), which can help in retrieving the full number.

Ask the tin fc where you filed the TDS return. They would have a copy of the PRN.

If the return is filed through efiling site then you can download it from there.

By both ways you can't retrieve the PRN just prepare the Q4 and submit it in the tin fc where you submit Q3. There is a way to find the previous PRN.

While preparing select 'No' for the question whether previous return filed?
Sir client have no idea from which Tin FC , return for Q3 was filed as this was filed by previous employee who can't be traced..
In this case you just file q4/returns as said in previous reply. You will receive intimations letter from TDSCPC. It will have a masked PRN which has the first 4 and last 4 digits of PRN. There is a way to retrieve the number from that.
Thank you sir ...
