Tds refund

One of my clients received a claim (motor vehicle accident insurance) from Insurance company in December 2015. The company deducted tax at 20% rate as PAN number was not available with the company and the company also didn't ask for the same. 26AS didn't show such TDS as no PAN was provided. Only a few days back I came to know about this. How can I claim such refund?

unless it is show in 26 as u cant get refund

tds return have to revise for that

and another thing u have to claim taht much in return

Give PAN no of your client to the Insurance company and tell them to rectify TDS return.

After filing of TDS return the amt will be seen in 26AS. The amount of TDS will not be reduced bcoz it is already paid to govt. You can claim tax credit in your clients return.
