MF Received from Mother
Dear Sir, I received mutual fund of Rs 4 lac in fy. 23-24 from my mother, how I show these in my ITR. Pls..

Bcoz, Mutual fund is individual name. So, mom paid to You as fund or money.?
Money then no problem and it's straight way keep as gift.

She transferred mutual fund to my name , not money, name changed from my mom to my name , pls. ..
Then it will be treated as a Gift and will be exempt

Well... I asked about this details.
This is gift from mother. So, You can show this under exempt income in ITR.
