TDS deducted u/s 194IA (TDS on sale of immovable property) shall be paid to the credit of the central government within a period of thirty days from the end of the month in which the deduction is made and shall be accompanied by a challan-cum statement in Form No. 26QB as per Income Tax Rule 30(2A)

I did one payment on 1st feb and paid the tds on 3rd march still i got a demand notice to pay the interest so i dont understand when to pay. Suppose if i am making the payment today then can i pay the tds today ?

please check date of agreement on form 26QB , and date of payment ot party.

TDS needs to be deducted earlier of payment ( payment ot party) or credit
