From where the commission is received? what amount?

Sir, Income from Fixed Deposit of Rs. 1,06,926, Income from commission (help in selling of products) Rs. 5,29,720, and Income from interest from  Savings account of Rs. 1,525.

Ideally, you should declare this commission under business inxcome by filing ITR 3. But if it is due to Direct selling, you can declare this under 'Schedule OI' under Tab Other (as Facilitation fees). But don't forget to change relevant TDS From BS to OI in Schedule TDS 2.

This is a great and very specific question. The choice of ITR form for a non-resident with business income can be quite complex.

As the replies point out, ITR3 is the form typically used for individuals with income from business or profession. However, given your non-resident status, it's highly recommended that you consult a chartered accountant to ensure you're filing the correct form and claiming all relevant deductions. It's the safest way to ensure compliance and avoid any issues with the tax authorities.

Where is question of Non Resident coming?
