COMPANY HAVE PAID TRANSPORTS CHARGES OF RS 50000 pm SHALL BE DEDUCTION ON TDS OR NOT

yes @ 2% TDS needs to be made since yearly payment exceeds 1lac

Take declaration from transporter for no need to tds. Otherwise pan base tds deduction 1% or, 2%

since payment is upto 6lacs p.a. so no declaration can be taken. tds @ 2% or 20% needs to be made

Check out the details frim Transporter as his number of vehicles. If it's not exceeding as per sec 194C then receive declaration and no need to deduct tds...
