Tds on telephone and internet broadband services from bsnl?

Do we need to deduct TDS on Telephone and Broadband bills of BSNL?

There is no provision for deduction of TDS for telephone bills. Since telephone service is not specifically provided to any customer, anyone who chooses to subscribe for that service can avail it. It's an open to all service and there is no agreement between both the parties. It also does not fit in any of TDS acts definitions.
